At the Polls in Kentucky
Story Highlights
- Looks like Clinton is taking Kentucky
- Both candidates are slated to be in Florida tomorrow

I've just gotten to Louisville. This morning I was in Uniontown and Kentucky State University, too. I'm here observing Kentucky's voting process (I live in Ohio and we've been known to have problems with these things).
Excitement is very visible here. The Clintons worked Kentucky till late into the night and President Bill Clinton even got personal, taking himself to the home of a real live Kentucky family.
Hillary spent most of the morning with her husband signing autographs and appearing as huggable and lovable as they did when they first entered the White House in 1992. They were spotted at Lynn's Paradise Café just on the outskirts of downtown Louisville greeting patrons--which is kinda odd.
President Bill was scheduled to be in Oregon this morning but word on the street is that he didn't leave his wife's side till 1pm to fly and meet up with Chelsea in Oregon. Does this mean the Clinton's are giving Oregon to Obama? (Holding an impromptu press conference, President Bill made it clear that Senator Obama can't make a credible claim to as the Democratic Nominee).
Obama will be in Iowa this evening, the first primary that started this ripple effect of his winning states and being in the lead. We have not gotten any word that Obama is coming to Kentucky to campaign any further... (So, is he writing off the Rural/Appalachia vote again? COME ON???)
The media's reporting that tomorrow after this war is over, both Clinton and Obama will be in Florida! I guess they're both laying the groundwork if the Party seats FL delegates on May 31.
For Obama, Florida is key. It's a battleground state and John McCain has been there twice this year. If he becomes the presumptive nominee after tonight, Obamae will need to start there in order to gain name recognition, in addition to igniting the energy he has been getting in the South if he's going to pull through in November.
