P Diddy to Get Star on Walk of Fame

On Friday May 2nd Sean "P Diddy" Combs is being honored with his very own star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame. The multifaced music and television producer will join a list of hip-hop stars like Queen Latifah and Will Smith on the list of honorees.
Beginning with his acting debut in the film “Made,” he went on to receive critical acclaim for his supporting role in “Monster’s Ball,” opposite Halle Berry, and made a successful Broadway debut starring in the lead role of Walter Lee, Jr., in the classic Lorraine Hansberry play, “A Raisin in the Sun,” which garnered four Tony Award nominations, including Best Revival of a Play. In addition, Combs starred in and executive produced the highly anticipated, television movie adaptation of "A Raisin in the Sun," along with the cast of the award-winning Broadway revival who reprise their roles for the new film, including Emmy and Tony Award winner Phylicia Rashad, four-time Tony Award winner Audra McDonald, Tony Award nominee Sanaa Lathan, plus "ER" star John Stamos. Based on Lorraine Hansberry's play that inspired a generation, "A Raisin in the Sun" aired as an "ABC World Premiere Movie Event," February 25th and will be available on dvd Wednesday, May 14th.
P Diddy has also seen success as producer for the popular "Making The Band" and "Run's House" television shows.
